I read that it's okay for a person to feel ridges on the inside of the vagina. But, I'm wondering, in the inside, does anyone ever feel a small ball like thing a bit further inside the vagina?
I had a GYN checkup in July and everything was fine. I am POSITIVE that it's not an STD, I am wondering if it's the cervix?
Now, here's the deal. I can't go back to my GYN until my insurance is switched, which won't be until after the holidays (switching due to job). So, is it normal to feel a soft ball a bit further into the vagina?

It is your Graftenburg zone. Most bozos call this the g-spot.

Its not the cervix, its a ways up there and it does not feel like a ball.

if you're talking about on the topside of the vagina, a few inches in, you might be talking about your g-spot, it's kinda raised and ridged, like a soft walnut shell, the cervix is hard and waaayyy at the back.... well atleast it is when your turned on, and that's the only time i have experiance with it, lol

your cervix would be more cylindrical-ish or conical, but that could be it. you can reach it with your finger-its typically only a few inches in. try this website: http://www.myvag.net/

It sounds like you're describing the bladder. If you look at a diagram, it looks like a baloon, but in reality it is a thick muscle.
