My my my...WAIT!!! You are still very young and at 26 you will be able to conceive. Do your schooling and get yourself ahead first! I am 26 and have a 3 year old daughter. I work full time, attend school full time, mother full time....I miss so much by putting my child aside for work and school. Believe me...It is hard to raise a child or any children without a degree and working a job that is minimum wage or a little more. You want to have yourself established this way you can enjoy your baby without any (or little) worries!

Get married first. Have a stable relationship with the guy and know he wants kids as much as you do. Make sure the guy you pick will be around for the long haul and won't cut and run the first time things get hard. Then start planning that family. Finish school. One day you'll meet the right guy and you'll be glad you waited, instead of having a baby with some deadbeat and having that guy in the picture to cause issues. Just wait.

26 is still young to be having a baby. I am 35 and trying for my first. I definately feel that 21 is too young. Enjoy life. Enjoy your young pre-baby body! Go to college, work a while. Maybe you'll get in the position where you can even stay home with your baby a while. Own your home, pay off your school loans and cars. Waiting a few, or even, 10 years won't hurt anything. Just make sure to keep up with your yearly gyno visits!
Good luck!

Waiting until your older depends on what is older. Since you are only 21 older is 26 you will have no different problems then you would at 21. If you waited till your 30's the % of getting pregnant each month drops. You don't need to rush to get pregnant at 21 you have your whole life ahead of you.

i just turned 25 and i have two children. i had my first baby right before i turned 23. when we got pregnant my husband told me that "no one is ever ready to have a baby." i believe that is true. though you certainly have to make sacrifices, your life can still go on if you have children. however, 26 isn't really that different from 21 when it comes to having babies. i don't think. its when you get into your 30's that things start to change. from what i read anyway. its probably best that you concentrate on school and then start having children.

You can never wait to be finacial set b/c you can never be ready that way. The only person that can tell if you are ready is you. I believe that the most important thing to be ready is emotional and to make sure that you have a good house set up and once you have that you should be ready , also a very good realtionship or marriage.

Wait until you're finished with school. I had my first daughter at 33 (32 when I became pregnant) and that was a good age. I had been married for 7 years and we both finished school (he had his Ph.D. and was a college professor) and we owned a home and both had very good jobs. Just be patient.
