how do i set up a company in singapore?

i would like to run some small bussiness.how do i set up a company and get people to know how is my company.

1. Go to the ACCRA web site and search for company names using your Singfile password.
2. Decide if you want to register a "Company" or a "Business" (Business does not have limited liability and is only applicable for single-person professional services).
3. Register the Company or Business on BIZFILE (S$300) - the Company is a lot more work.
4. If you're filing a company, you're going to need a company secretary, business plan, corporate office and perhaps another company director.
5. To get people to know what your company is all about, you are going to need to advertise. You can do bulk mail (i.e. through SingPost), internet advertising, advertise through the newspapers (e.g. Today), radio, hand flyers, banners or even just telling everyone you know.

hi... first you need to think of a very nice company name for yourself and then register with ACRA .
Not forgetting whether you want your company to be PTE LTD ( partners are involve S$300.00) or without PTE LTD( No partner are involve S$65.00) you get check more in detail in ACRA website.

in order To get people to know more about your company, I personally think that you can use lots of way.
1st - Advertising
2nd - Road Show
3rd - Doing Tele-sales.
