well it depends on whether u want to download it or not. if want to download it for free and then listen to it, limewire's good.
but if u just want to listen to it for free online, yahoo has free online radio (aka Launchcast).
myspace has a whole section where u can listen to music for free online (u dont even have to have an account), i have the link below and u can either click on featured artists or search for any artists u want to listen to.
Purevolume is also a great site to listen to music for free. u dont have to get an account for this either. u can either click on featured artists, search artists, browse artists, or even check out the charts for top artists and etc. i have the link for that site below too. and if this isnt doing it for u, there are plenty of other sites on the web where u can listen to music for free.

If you get yahoo messenger you can have music playing free of charge and there are loads of categories to choose from, I don't know if there are any websites but I find this the best way, also you can have this playing whilst on-line, Hope this helps.

Whatever you do don't use Limewire! I used it a few times and each time it ends up slowing down my computer. I suggest like some other people have already using Yahoo Music or Youtube. I'll give you the links:

If you just want to listen then tune into one of the many radio stations that are on line. iTunes will give you access to some of them otherwise just google "radio stations" and see what tyou come up with

if you just want ot listen to radio go to yahoo and you can pick a station, or veoh.com where you can watch and/or download videos it's totally awesome

yahoo music is good you can choose your vids or radio genre i.e pop rock dance and you can also customise your station
