ok, the IRS has a great site for forms and for instruction booklets, and it is

www.irs.org

and it gives you lots of tax information... and has an idex for your to seek answers to questions right online.
The categories are:

TAX RETURNS
TAX SOFTWARE
IRS TAX HELP
TAX DEBT
FEDERAL TAX ID NUMBER
TAX FORMS
TAX EXTENSIONS
TAX ATTORNEY
TAXES
COPIES OF PAST TAX RETURNS
Plus others that you type in the SEARCH box.

The word exemption means that you are one person so you have one exemption - to interpret is that it costs so much money for you to take care of yourself....if you have a wife...then you and your wife are 2 exemptions...you get an extra exemption (a block on the 1040 to check) if you are blind,
you get an exemption for each child...and so forth and all of this is summarized on the 1040 - main tax form.

Happy filing and the online site is new and improved...we had to call in quesions for years...so this is a great improvement.

basicall it means you are exempt from paying taxes. so if you get a full refund of your withholding wages every year you are not paying taxes. if you are exempt, your employer will not withhold any amount on your paycheck just remember to write exempt on #7 of your w-4 form from your employer.
