Technically Beta Ray Bill is the knockoff of Thor. Thunderstrike wielded a mace that had slightly different powers then Mjolnir (Thor's hammer).

Tunderstrike lacked the storm wielding powers of Mjolnir, and he also lacked the strongest of Thor's energy weilding powers. PLus Thunderstrike was not quite as durabile as Thor himself.

Bet Ray Bill's hammer Stormbreaker has the same enchantments as Mjolnir. It allows him to harness storms, absorb and redirect energies. It also grants Bill Thor's durability and strength (which is much more than other Asgardians). And because of his cybernetic body and living ship (Scuttlebutt) Bill may be truely imortal.

You may be thinking of when Eric Masterson was a bearded Thor with a slightly altered costume (also known as Thor II to some people). Plus you forgot Dargo Ktor (Thor of an alernate future).

Beta Ray Bill by about a mile. Thunderstrike was defined by his enemy, Bloodaxe, who is awesome. It was the Bloodaxe that was able to defeat Desak, the god killer. But Masterson was severly lacking when it came to pure power. Sure he was created to add more character to the godlike character, what wiht the daughter, mundane job, and street cred, but he still sucked. Hell, he died and is lucky enough to have never been revived for shock value. (cough thor clone cough) Now Bill the Korbinite is the ****. Worthy of many series and the one guy that when Thor was in trouble, you hoped he would show up. Capable of defeating a Herald, god/protector to his people, and the only one who has personally defeated and humbled Thor in combat. Where was
Thunderstrike during Ragnarok. I'll tell yeah. He was already in Valhalla while Bill was fighting the good fight. Bill would defeat Masterson everytime and twice on Sunday.

Without question Beta Ray Bill. He beat Thore years ago in a great story by Walter Simonson and Joe Q that started in issue 336 of Thor. Look for Bill in next years Omega Flight.

Beta Ray Bill hands down. Eric Masterson never truely had the power of Thor and what powers he did have, he never really mastered.

I know there are fans of both of these Thor knockoff characters, but I am NOT one of them. They both sucked so bad that if they were to ever battle one another, a vortex would open up and whisk them to Limbo in a giant suck vac. Interesting VS. battle, but I just hated both of these characters.
