I think it should be. It would be too dangerous for a girl that age to have a baby.

I want to say yes but on the other hand it would be violating a woman's right to choose at the same time. I think intense therapy should be required.

I don't think an abortion should ever be required. That is as wrong as people saying it should never be allowed in any case.
13 is young but not too dangerous. (abortion is dangerous too, especially for the aborted baby)

It is not dangerous for a thirteen year old to have a baby, stupid maybe but not dangerous. If nature thought it was dangerous then females would not get their period until older. Required abortion?? Now that is a scary thought. To be forced to kill, wow, you should look into getting a therapist.

ok first of all . . . abortions are wrong! if the girl was unable to actually go through labor, and take care of the baby, but she can carry it(as in let it grow in her), then she can get a C-section, and put it up for adoption. DONT KILL DEFENSLESS PEOPLE! it is not their fault the mom got herself into trouble, they should not suffer because of the mom's actions.

Not really... adoption maybe.. (even if its to her parents), but not all 13 and younger girls have problems during pregnancy. My cousins ex-girlfriend who got pregnant at 13 had a fine pregnancy... unfortunatly, their daughter was born with retardation, but thats a bit different.

No I don't I think they should have the choce just like older pepole because it isn't the age that matter it is dangours at ANY age to have a baby.

No. It is not a proven fact that girls are at risk when having a child that age. Women used to do it all the time many years ago. My aunt was raped and gave birth at 12. It didn't kill her.

i think thats an excuse because if she is ready enough to have sex i think she is ready to deal with the consecuences maybe 13 year old boy a gril should think of study instead of sex and if they make a mistake they have to fix it a del with it and abortion \is not the solution

ok, disagreeing w/ everyone else....i think it should be. even tho she has had sex (ew!! who would have it at that age???) she would definitely not be old enough/mature enough to care for the baby! it is better to stop it before it is born, then for it to have a really bad life...but i also think it should be the parents' decision...the 13year old wouldn't want the baby anyways...at least hopefully not...
