I have a VCD TV series which plays in my DVD player fine, but I want to put them all onto DVD, that way I only have 3 DVD and not 10 Cds, you know, save space. But then when I try to play the VCD on my computer it is all jumpy and digital static like it is having trouble reading the CD. Is there anyway I can convert VCD to DVD or do I just have to watch them one by one on my DVD player? Please help!

You should check out, if the problem occurs when files are copied from cd to HDD - could be possible that HDD playback would be ok.
You also could use a converter on the files on HDD, try out this shareware thingy:http://www.techspot.com/downloads/805-easy-avi-vcd-dvd-mpeg-converter.html

Though its shareware you can check out if it does the trick for you.
Usually you could just use DVD burning software like Nero to create a DVD from the VCD files.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
