Part of Christmas? Mine is getting to hug all the realtives I don't get to see very often. It is a very loving time. Awwww! Hugs all around!

Yours is a great one!! I do love seeing my relatives and hugging and talking to them!! I also enjoy that I don't go to school, the snowy streets, to drink hot chocolate when it's freezing outside, and the presents!!

My Favorite Part Is Celebrating It On April 1st. My Friend Dan Started This Off. Its Called 'Christmas Fools'. We Are All Just Tired Of The Over-Commercialized Start Decorating The Day After Thanksgiving Crap. Its Supposed To Be About Family, Not Crowded Malls.

Taking my German-American traditions to my wife and daughters in the Philippines... the girls laugh, but they love the tree, the songs, the food... They have also taught me their traditions.
I also just plain love the music...
I used to be a "Bah Humbug" for a few years like Rose S --
I had a divorce, followed by 5 consecutive Christmas' at sea with the US Navy... no cards, no gifts, no family.

I agree... my favorite is also getting together with the family you don't see very often. I also love the Christmas movies on TV and nothing beats the beautiful lights!

Now that I have a 3 year old it is watching him get excited over everything, it is like seeing everything for the first time again through his eyes.
