Karate demonstration. Is she actually hitting those guys or is it faked?

I think the hitting is real but the guys are falling down on purpose.

I think it looks like a demonstration. No one gets hurt. It is not faked. Nothing in Karate is faked.

In Karate, you train for the real thing but in training you don't hit your partners. It's all about self control and knowing when to strike and when not to. Mistakes can happen, I got kicked in the groin twice, pretty sore believe me. Demos are the same, you go close but don't actually hit our partner. If the partner falls they are practising how to fall and not be hurt in that situation.

Self control, remember.

It's a Karate demonstration.The hits are controlled.Her technique is pretty good but her power looks weak.

If it is in the U.S. it is pretty much fake, she is making a little contact but, for the most part it is fake. My son is in kuk sool won and they are not allowed to make full contact when they are sparring, she is bascailly just preforming moves to teach people how to do different self defense moves on attackers.

Put yourself in place of things being hit and you will know for sure.
