when you meet someone new and they say their name....repeat their name over and over again to yourself while looking at their face. repeat it at least 7 times as its proven that the human mind needs repetition of 7 times to retain in permanent memory.

try saying there names back when they're introduced and really try to "store" them in your mind while you're looking at their face. i'm horrible with names too and this helps sometimes.
