Or if it's a cat boat or catamaran.

In either of the above cases, you might say there are still 10 cats left.

Ah, everyone has their own take on this one, don't they. However, I say none, not because they were copycats, but because theres no "left" on the boat. The cats would either be starboard or port. No cats can be left on the boat.

But I'm thinking you phrased the question wrong.

Did you really mean;

If there are ten copycats on a boat and one jumps off, how many cats are left on the boat?

Then the answer would be 0, because they are all copycats, and what one does the rest will do the same thing

Well if skycat jumped off there would still be 10onboard.So i believe you ought save the four legged cats and jump in.
