I have found websites that recommend from 250 mg/day to 2000 mg/day. Most agree on 600 mg/day. But what is the best dosage?

1000 to 1500 milligrams is a common dosage - taken in divided doses (500 milligrams 2 or 3 times per day).

If you are trying to build up your glutathione (or GSH), you really should get your essential amino acids from a whole food. Bio-available whey protein isoloate (such as GBG's MA+ Complex) is the best source for adults. Taking an isolated amino acid long term can run the risk of getting out of balance and creating more problems. If you eat a whole food, you stay in balance.

Best dosage is ZERO mg. Eat natural foods and live longer.
