it will only last for as long as the hormone is still in your blood stream and it probably will wear off soon after remving the patch- so PLEASE dont think you are covered - my advice it get a replacement patch ASAP and protect yourself in the meantime (assuming you do not want babies!)

After 24 hours its efficacy diminishes.
