I have this friend named Maria she's only 15 years old and has a 10 month old baby.Her baby's dad Jose is in jail, he won't be out for a while and when he does he's getting deported to Mexico.When he was out he treated Maria and the baby like s~h~i~t.Well when the baby was 2 months old Jose's nephew came to live with them(he's only 16).Jose woked but never gave Maria money for the baby,so Jose's nephew gave her all his pay check for the baby.He loves the baby alot.It has been 5 months since Jose's been in jail.Jose's nephew and Maria been going out since than.He buys her and the baby everything they wants.He is really nice and he loves them both alot.They have talked about what they are going to do when Jose gets out,they will split up and still live together and never tell Jose.So do you think it's okay what they're doing?After all Maria is his Aunt.Should she spit up with him now and let him find a girl that doesn't have kids?Oh should they stay together?

First, it sounds like Maria doesn't have a lot of pride in herself.
Is Jose and Maria married, or just shacking? If they were just shacking, then Maria isn't dating HER nephew.
This story sounds like something out of a "True Romance" novel. Under the past circumstances, with Jose being a "loser" all the way, and the nephew being such a nice guy, I would tell Maria to dump Jose and marry the nephew OR just bail out from all the sad sack story and start a new life. I am constantly appalled as to the fixes people get their selves into.

If Maria married Jose, then she's just the guy's aunt by marriage and she's free to marry Jose if she divorces Jose but, the way you explain things, it doesn't sound like they're even married so what's the big deal?
If Maria and Jose love each other, they should get married. If they don't love each other, they should split. Forget Jose in this equation, he's getting deported.
However, it sounds like Jose and Maria are still awfully young so I'd suggest that neither get into a relatlionship until they grow up some! What kind of idiots does Maria have as parents and where are they? They shouldn't have been letting their 14 year old daughter screw around with a jerk and have a baby at 14 or 15.

My personal opinon. Stay with the nephew, especially if he treats her well. But don't keep jose out of the picture. They do have a child together, so he should be in the know about the going ons with his family.

I think Maria would be much better off disappearing with her baby and taking her new fellow with her. The babies father sounds like a complete waste of space and she should not only think of herself and what she wants, but the type of life and the type of influence she wants her child to have. The babies father seems to be all that you would not want from a father and husband.

Why is a 15 year old girl living with someone? Where are her parents? What id the child supposed to call her new boyfriend? cousin dad? This sounds like something from Jerry Springer.

they arn't family because jose didn't marry maria so technically she is not his aunt.and i also think they should tell jose what has been going on so they could start dating again.
