I wonder the same thing....If they would just go back to 9/11 & listen to every speach made by President Bush, they will see that he has NOT changed in anything he has said.
The Democrats claim all sorts of things, including that President Bush said that this war would be a piece of cake.....
President Bush did NOT say that, that was some reporter who said that....President Bush said that this would NOT be easy & it would be hard work.....
I think Hannity & Combs should play all of President Bush's speaches & show footage of the WTC towers falling EVERYDAY to remind the people of this country what we are doing & why!!!!
The Democrats talk about NO WMD... How do they know??? There is NO INDESPUTABLE evidence that there are no WMD... We have absolutely NO idea what is buried under the sand over there.....NO IDEA WHAT SO EVER & we won't until it is used against us... I could be as big as a house or as tiny as vial.... WMDs are NOT just huge bombs, they can be gasses or liquids also.......
The thing I don'r understand is the people who claim President Bush is a liar NEVER can come up with an answer when asked what he lied about. They just go off on WMDs & like I said, there is NOT A SINGLE BIT OF EVIDENCE THAT CAN PROVE THERE ARE NOT ANY!!!!!

In a word, psychology.

People feel betrayed over the way you made it sound like the Iraqi people would welcome us as liberators. I for one believe you believed what you said, only you turned out to be terribly wrong. People feel like they need someone to blame, and you are a good target.

There are also 9/11 conspiracy theorists, who think you ordered the controlled demolition of the WTC. Once again, something terrible happened and people need someone to be punished. The psychology would change if Osama was brought to justice, but in the mean time you will face irrational hate.

As for the WMDs, you DID make it sound like Saddam had quite an arsenal and all that was ever found were a few aging nerve gas shells. Besides, if he had anything effective it would have been used on our troops during the invasion. Once again, I believe you believed what you said only the intelligence agencies told you what you wanted to hear. Did you already know that Saddam Hussein's advisors told him that they were defeating the U.S. right up until the moment our troops arrived? People in positions of power often get told what they want to hear because they are intimidated by someone who could fire them in the blink of an eye...

I have sent you an email explaining why I think the U.S. should leave Iraq. I doubt you will get it, but please read!

And kudos to you for asking the American public instead of just listening to Cheney and your advisors!
