I'm not sure if I am explaining it properly. It is a fraction and on the top is 2x which is raised to the 1/3. That number is then raised to the 4th. The denominator is x raised to the 5/6. This problem deals with roots. Thanks for the help.

The first thing you need to do is get the fractional exponent out of the denominator. You do that by multiplying top and bottom by x to the 1/6th power.

So now you have 2^ 4/3 * x^ 3/2 and all of that is over x

1. (2x*1/3)*4 = 2x*4/3 = 2x*8/6
2. .2x*8/6 divided by x*5/6 = 2x*3/6 = 2x*1/2 Ans.

Remember: 1. When you raise terms with exonents to a higher or lower power you multiply the exponents only.2. when you divide terms having exponents you subtract the exponents only

Note: In these formulations a (*) indicates to insert the exponent following at the *.

a million. 3x+9=27 what does x= ? x=6 First, subtract 9 from 9 and 27, to get 18, then divide 3 and 18 with the help of three to get x=6. All you're doing is keeping apart the variable. 2. -5y-4=76 what does y= ? -sixteen 3. 10-a million/4b=9 what's b= ? 4 4. 4c+7-6c=23 what does c= ? -8 This one, you combine 4c and -6c (upload) to get .2c then you definately do what I defined in the previous. 5. 13d-fifty 3=9d+19 what does d= ? Subtract the 9d from the 13d to get 4d-fifty 3=19 and do the different steps I defined. answer's 18. 5/6e+18-a million/6e=6 whats e? 25-3/9f=19+4/7f whats f? 3(y+4)-10=sixty six-5y what's y? Distribute. 3y+12-10=sixty six-5y so as this is 3y+2=sixty six-5y answer's -8 4(g-2)=2(g+8) what's g? Distribute returned. 4g-8=2g+sixteen answer is 12
