Some historian I read said that Hitler's designs were chiefly eastern hegemony. The western war was forced on him because Europe did'nt want him moving east. If this were true, and he was succesful in the east would't he just turn around and head west as well?

Hitler was in his own insanity creating a New World Order, to finish what the tyrants of WW I, were unable to achieve. He had the closest countries to fight first but had every intention with his allies to conquest to the West for he wanted no one on earth to be anything but the Third Reich and he was the King. It was written anyone that did not believe in and serve the Third Reich was the enemy. The old world was not his goal it was the riches of this land Africa,Australia, New Zealand South America, and especially the US, for ecomomic reasons as well as land. All of Europe-Asia was decadent and not vast enough with the land or and resources as is today, they all need breathing room.
