If you are asking if a computer can read a person's mind, well of course not. Smart computer devices are however taking us closer to the appearance of such, by learning our preferences and common behaviours when interacting with these devices

No they can't. But experimental ones learn to adapt to and anticipate their user's behavior and actions.
