There are "USB turntable" devices now that coem with all you need to do this. Search your favorite internet shops for these.

Record to cd first then onto pc. Unless your record player is very old, it will have a socket to plug a cable in which you need to plug into your cd recorder. Play and record then transfer. Sorry not very detailed but can't remember waht cables called. Good luck. x

Get a USB turntable, create mp3 files from the records and then burn on to CDs. Good luck!

It can be done if you purchase the right hardware and software but it will take soooooooo long to due. I would suggest borrowing CD's from friends and family and then copy them. Or you could buy them retail. The sound quality is much better

why dont you buy a second hand turntable 40 pound and a cd recorder.

first, turntable with good cartridge and pre amp
second, sound card with rca or mini jack stereo inputs
third, a good sound wave recorder like polderbit.
play you record back while recording thru the computer and recording on your wave recorder.
