You should go see a counselor. Everyone needs some help now and then. Plus, it's pretty cool to have an unbiased person to bounce your thoughts and feelings around with. It's completely confidential and you probably won't need to go more than 12-18 times (maybe even as few as 6). Your college most likely has a counselor on campus and those services should be free (or nearly free). I worked in the counselor's office at my undergrad. college when I was 18. The counselor saw A LOT of freshmen come in with similar concerns. If you live in a city that has a University with a counseling department, check to see if they have an on-site clinic. You probably will have to pay a very small fee (our clinic's fees ranged between $4-$20). Also, there should be a community mental health agency in your area. Most of these places take insurance and Medicaid/Medicare as payment. Look around at your options and remember that EVERYTHING should be confidential. Good luck and take care.

Seek some counseling. Your college might provide this free of charge. Eat right, exercise, avoid drugs & alcohol ( unless a psychiatrist prescribes an anti-depressant. Think about what you really want. Do you want to be in college or were you pushed into it? What are your interests? What can you see yourself doing for the rest of your life which would make you happy?

you need to try and be patient with yourself. Nothing usually comes easy for anyone. Just relax and enjoy your time at college, study hard but find time for play too. Its hard sometimes when you think that you cant get along with someone....find people in your classes or in organizations. I once felt just like you did....I ended up going back home and finishing school at the community college in my hometown. People think high school is so difficult...College is harder I think. (socially) Good luck and try to keep your head up.

I would try to be patient and relax it seems you may be putting too much pressure on yourself. You need to just focus on completing college and go for your ambitions when you find them. When you have a better outlook for yourself so will others. They will see your effort and will want to be there to befriend and support you in your decisions.

you need to get a different outlook ..you need to talk to someone...maybe a counselor at your college...or maybe some spiritual advice..or just started hanging out with the popular people..started asking your friends what they like about you and what you can change..feeling sorry for yourself is not healthy..
