endurance to do it for 200 hundred laps, show who's the best, who's the toughest, the strongest, strongest mind and strongest willed, the most skilled driver out there, controlling a huge aero-dynamic horse power machine going over 100mph on tight turns and not losing control!! I love it!! Go Jr!!

The point is that racing is an athletic competition between man and machine.The endurance and the stamina of man is tested.Each track is different,each race faces certain challenges in the set up,weather,type tire brought to the track.
When a question like this is asked it makes the writter seem to be the worlds greatest idot or someone wanting to get a rise out of people.
And my English teacher would take 5 points off for spelling.

What is the point? ok It's their career like you or anyone else has a career. It's something that they love doing. It's more to it then what you think. Try going to one you will see how much fun it is.

I'm sure they all get a thrill out of the speed. You can't go that fast anywhere else, I'm guessing. And all sports are dangerous.
