I am thankful for all I have and feel lucky for all of it, but looking around I feel like I have so much less compared to others. I read that the middle class is disappearing and we are becoming a 2 class society.

Financially, i am one of the very poorest.

And so, conversely, that makes me one of the very richest, and I know it!

Cause' what you own, owns you. And if you are really smart, you will never forget that.

My area is deemed a wealthy area, but i'm in the student-housing streets, so that'd be the poorer slot...

I don't think where you live defines you.

If you want to talk class - then that is something you're born with, not born into or won (lottery).

I think we're more becoming a middle class society (Australia). Snobbery is defintiely still around though.

I defintely feel the richest when it comes to the love of family and friends.

If its strictly financial, I generally don't compare myself to others for I don't care what they they have. But I would guess I am on the richest side due to the fact that I hoard, save and invest while others spend spend spend.
