No, but I wish that I did. My family is the type that guards secrets to the detriment of everyone. Alcoholic uncle, or gay cousin? Those bits of information go to the grave. If someone were to lift a lid on the family skeletons, two or three of my elderly relations would likely keel over from the shock.

Not necessarily at the table, but I have one relative who waits until everyone is gathered in a room, starts tapping on a glass with a knife to get everyone's attention (so annoying), and then announces that someone in their immediate family is pregnant, getting married, moving away, etc. Everyone else usually makes individual phone calls with their announcements.

My Uncle Charley did just such a thing last year when, right in the middle of our "Sweet Potato Song", he stood up and declared, "I's a goat!!!" and proceeded to trample the table and jumped through the window with our centerpiece still in his mouth. We still don't know if he's coming alone or with a date this year.

Yes I do have a relative that makes revelations, and what makes it even worse is that none of his revelations are relative. (:>)

Nope. If they're personal I think they would keep them to themself unless it was like"Oh my gosh! Is that how you spell Pumpkin? and all this time I though it was spelled P-U-N-K-I-N. What a fool I am." Then yes...we've had plenty of those.

No, my family is nosy & gossipy, and brutally honest. We already know.
Did someone come out of the closet at your dinner??????
THAT would make for an interesting conversation!

No, but if I did my family would probably make bets beforehand on what he or she would be likely to say next!
