I was recently fired from my job because I wore a pair of pants to work instead of a skirt. There is no dress code at my job but my boss and personally whispered in my ear that he prefers to see my "pretty legs in a skirt".

And to add insult to inury not only did he fire me he also beat me repeadly with his personal collection of whips and chains . Is there anyone that I can report this to? I dont think that it is fair that I get fired just because I didn't feel like wearing a skirt. This is my first job and I really need the money. Thanks

Flush-off!

So far you have: a teenage son who beats you and you "politely ask him to stop" before he knocks you unconscious? A 6-month old who's "asking about college"? A 17 year old nephew who showers with his mom? A young neice and nephew that break all your dishes, have their own whips and chains and pee on your table? A perv high school janitor and you apparently work in a sick fast food restaurant (from which you were now fired???) Whips and chains have come up 3 times in these 7 questions... Call Dr. Phil.

(Anyone else who gives me a thumbs down for taking two points and telling this goofball off is truly gullible!!!)

This and your other degenerate, phony questions are not the purpose of Yahoo Answers.

(I'll take 2 points for each one of them though with this same response...)

Then I'll thank the powers that be that there's a limit to how many questions one idiot can ask in a day...

A collection of whips and chains? Where in the heck did you work?? Many times when people are fired it is not for the reason they were given. It all boils down to whether or not you got along with the boss. You can contact a lawyer to sue for sexual harassment, but you would need proof that he said these things to you, or beat you. i.e. police reports, other people around, etc...

properly if i comprehend teenage boys, and that i do because of the fact i used to be one, the appropriate situation so you might do is embarass or perhaps humiliate them in front of the the remainder of the class. the appropriate thank you to do this with out dropping your job is thru wit, and seeing as you're in u . s . throw in some sarcasm too. this isn't any solid taking the 'stiff top lip' attitude and saying they are being disrespectful; how lots do they comprehend or care approximately appreciate? you're able to desire to tell them, in a diffused and witty yet in addition clean way, that they are little boys that doesn't comprehend what to do with you and which you like actual adult males. additionally attempt and get the girls in the instructions on your area; which will incredibly get to them.

I am having trouble believing this a real question. A personal collection of whips and chains? Why wouldn't you have called the police? That would be assault. As for the skirt thing, yeah, that is sexual harrassment. Where do you work?, an s&m club? Read this poster's other questions, she claims to have HER own collection of whips and chains. Idiot.

Sounds like you are playing a poker hand and trying to bluff. I'm calling your bluff because the average person would clearly know this is sexual harassment and an illegal practice in the workplace or anywhere else.

Tell him to put his whips and chains away and to hire you back or he may face a large lawsuit in my opinion.

report it to the police and labor and industries. but it really depends what he wrote as to why he fired you. or go to his wife if he has one and find a lawyer you could sue him. but why would you want to go back working their anyway wouldn it be better to move on and get a new job and not get involved with your boss. that was your first stupid mistake

If there is no written dress code, he can't fire you. As for the rest of it, talk to a lawyer.
