Not really. I suppose if I were truly lost than yes, but I try to trust my instinct and go when I'm ready. Not sure if that makes sense... ?

If I'm at family dinner and the host says "help yourself",
I help myself. If I'm arriving at a doorway at the same time as an elder, I hold the door, and allow them to go first. If I'm at a seminar, and the speaker asks for questions, I wait for others to ask, before asking mine.

Yes.
This is going to make me sound demented but if i go ahead of someone, i will fret over it the WHOLE day and just imagine the mean and horrible things they must be saying about me...
I'm so paranoid of upsetting people.
Especially while driving. I'm so scared of cutting people off, i forget to change lanes until i'm halfway to "Never Never Land".

When it comes to jumping in a pool or a lake, I am ALWAYS the first one in. Sometmes I wait, sometimes I don't in other situations. Interesting Question!

Yes I do, because I don't like to be in the spotlight at all, even in silly places like entering a room first. I am very shy in life.

depends on the situation, i can't stand someone walking behind me. but if its something fun looking and maybe dangerous. sure I'd go first
