Liquid liner is very good because it lasts all day without smudging and can define your eyes and liven up your complexion. It gives you a smooth precise line that is very sexy especially if you are going for that 'cat eye' look. Here are my faves from expensive to dirt cheap--they are equally wonderful!

-Bobbi Brown->Sepia Ink Long Wear Gel Liner
-MAC->Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
-Wet 'n' Wild->Megaliner Liquid Eyeliner- Black

If you know how to apply it properly and use a good brand then sometimes liquid liner is better than the pencil kind. It really depends on the look you want: pencil give a more natural look, and is easy to apply to the upper and lower lids. Liquid should only be used on the upper lids and gives a bolder retro look. I love M.A.C. liquid liner! It's great if you're going for that Twiggy look. If you want something cheaper, try Cover Girl liquid liner. Just make sure you know how to apply it properly, or it might end up looking like liquid eye shadow. Good luck!

I know I am fabulous!

Based on my personal experience, it's hard to use, because you need to make the line really close to your lashes. Otherwise, it'll look really bad. Someone suggested that I use a eyeliner pencil to line my eyes first, then use the liquid liner over it, so there's a line for you to trace over. I read in some magazine that you shouldn't really draw a line with the liquid eye liner, but instead dot it between your lashes.

well its all about what u r comfortable with wearing. i would encourage you to try liner because it is so easy. i use the NYC collection. the way i apply it is by drawing a thick line. then before it dries, i take a Q-Tip and take off as much as you want leaving a nice crisp line. I'm sure there are other ways of applying it, i just like to do it that way best. Hope this helps!

I wouldn't suggest it. It tends to be much more noticeable if your line isn't straight. It is fun to wear out on the town though because it is dramatic. But for everyday use I would stick with a stick eyeliner. PS- Don't use black eyeliner if you have light hair, it looks very fake, go with a brown or gray. Hope this helps!
