i am married to a wonderful woman. you could not ask for anyone better. she'd a great wife, mother, lover, friend, and did i metion beautiful. yet i am bored. i feel like i want some kind of exiciting change. something different and new. i know it is selfish of me however i would like to read from ladies who feel the same. just to see if anyone else feels the same way.

I don't know, I'd rather be bored in a perfect marriage than lonely and miserable in my marriage.

silly question I suppose, but have you talked to her about it. I've been married for 26 years and from time to time things have gotten a little to predictable and yes, boring. it is nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to be secretive about.
You don't mention how you want thing to change though, so I don't know what your looking for to get out of the rut your in. Think about the cause of your feelings and be prepared to make some suggestions. But only after the two of you talk about how each of you feel about your relationship. Give her the security of telling her how you feel about her and then talk about spicing things up. But don't go for the immediate thrill, rather put together a structure. Sort of a safe zone when you both can discuss things that each of you would like to do, and what aspect of your lives that you'd like experimenting in changing.
The safe zone discussions are for discussions that only move forward if both of you agree that you'd like experimenting with. And if either of you feel it isn't working out then either of you can stop it immediately without repercussions.
I & my wife have these discussions at least once a month and it has brought small and large changes to our relationship and it certainly hasn't been boring. the topics of discussion have been everything from how to deal with close relatives (without fear of having my head cut of by my wife when I tell her how irritating her sister is) to discussions about having an open marriage (which we both agree is something we'd be open to, just not right now), to doing new things in bed.
Even if we don't act on these discussions, the feelings of honesty and trust are well worth it. And things have gotten more exciting to say the least.

Can I ask how long have you been married? I am a woman and I have had/have the same feelings. Life gets boring- the whole scheme of life attracts sameness leading to bored people leading boring lives. I don't have your answers but I will tell you that your not the only person feeling these feelings.

If your having doubts are you sure she is so wonderful or does she give you cuase for doubting her devotion to you.
I to had a beautiful wife and kidded myself that she was a great wife and mother but all the time I felt she didnt love me as much as I did her. That led me to think of others and although I put the thoughts behind me because i always hoped things would become how I wanted them she left me when she got a better offer.
Not saying your in the same situation but if your thinking of something different she is obviously not giving you something you desire.

Please try to solve your boredom issues with your wife. Find something new & exciting that involves her/&/or your kids, too. It doesn't always have to involve sex. Stop thinking that's the most important thing in life & find other things that are joyful not just pleasurable. Please don't hurt your family, wife & children with your selfishness. You are only taking a gamble. You have a sure thing now. Do right by them & you'll have something to be proud of.

You are not alone my friend. to the ones who say not me, are denying the truth and inevitable. You can be in love with your spouse. But feel that there is something missing. You can do everything together and feel there is something you have missed. It is more common than we know. But we deny it as a whole.

Usually when someone is bored, it is because they are boring. A lot of people expect their spouse or partner to entertain them or fill a void in their life.

do YOU know what you want from your wife and from you marrige?TELL HER! im sure she loves you and would do anything for you.My hubby said the same to me and I asked him what is is that he wants.He told me .I had NO IDEA.but now things are great!I had no idea it can be so wonderful after so many years.
