Yes, there is only one way it can happen, thats if the ball is batted into the air by a defender as its thrown. or a ball is thrown and it hits sumone in the helmet and goes into air, then the QB becomes a receiver and can catch and advance the ball. But it has to be contacted after it was thrown. So if a QB goes to throw the ball and his arm is hit, but ball is not touched and the ball goes into air, that is a fumble, and the ball cannot be advanced, only recovered if the qb catches it. If the ball goes straight into air from a QBs hand, its technically a fuble recovery if he catches it LOL.. and it cant be advanced

Only if it is touched by a defensive player. Brad Johnson when he played with Tampa threw a touch down pass to himself off a deflection. He is the only quarterback to do so.

Yes & No. I know that is a weird answer. The only thing I can think of is if a QB throws the ball and it gets deflected back to the QB, the QB can start running if he has a chance.

No, a player can NOT throw a pass to himself. If the ball is tipped by another player, it can then be caught by the pass thrower.

Yes he can, I've seen it done a few times. The pass has to get batted to him by a defensive player.

Umm no and why would he pass to himself if he already has the ball?
