A paltry 12 episodes my friend! 6 from 1975 and the other 6 from 1979.

There are so few episodes because John Cleese and Connie Booth knew when to stop before they over did a classic and tarnished it's reputation. And also because they got divorced during the second series and although still professional enough to get through it probably knew when to call working together a day too.

Yes, yes it's 12. Last year the local PBS aired all the episodes over two weeks, with one day each week having two episodes.
