I thought the espisode before last--ecko dying--was a major bore. All the flashbacks just related what we already knew. Basically nothing happened in that episode except him dying and that could have been summed up in 30 seconds. (somebody here mentioned the blonde and her hubby--yes, new crash survivors are coming out of the woodwork to replace all the 'regulars' being killed off!! Oh, and one last thing--ever notice that with the exception of the older black woman, ALL the women on that plane were young and hot ?!?)
Last episode, I did like the scenes with Kate and Sawyer (LOVE Sawyer) but .. even though he told her they were on a separate island, I can't believe they wouldn't make a run for it knowing that Sawyer was going to be killed.
Also.. Jack is threatening to let Ben die if Kate isn't released--where is she going to go? I mean, her and Sawyer could have left the night before!! If they didn't think it was worthwhile to leave then ie. they couldn't get away .. why would it be any more feasible they could get away NOW?

I thought is was really good - of course it set you up for the February second half of the season. I thought for sure that Sawyer was going to bite the dust - but no he didn't. I don't know why Sawyer and Kate did not take off - unless they think the boat is gone with Michael and Walt? Not sure. I love what Jack did - not sure if it for real or not, but its getting the bad guys moving. Also I don't think that the bad guys expect to let Jack go after he operations on Ben.... I really want to know what the black smoke monster is..... Why did Echo have to die? What's up with Locke's legs and also what is up with the guy who can see the future - or is reliving the past? That one is interesting. Last - whats up with the two new people - the blonde and her husband. I'm still hooked!

full marks for all those scenes with sawyer :D
the whole episode-I'd give it about 8 out of 10. I like when it ends with a good cliffhanger but they showed the clip with them threatening to kill sawyer in the preview! they basically gave away half the ending of that episode which was so stupid. I like Kate but the flashback was kinda boring. there was no big shock or twist in her past. I like that Jack has some control over the others-at least for now. I cant see kate getting away though. it was a good enough episode. still annoyed that we have to wait until february though :(

It was a let down....they hyped it up as this biiiiiiiig cliffhanger but it wasn't. The show just isn't that good anymore, not like the first season was. I'm hoping that whatever that show is they're showing in place of Lost bombs big time....then maybe they'll bring Lost back. I kind of feel like it'll lose viewers the longer it's off.

Actually I like how its going this season, sure there is not a lot of action all the time, but the story is deep. We are learning, a bit at a time, about the 'others'.....its going to all come together at some point. I can't believe they ended this week like they did though, I can't wait until next episode...

I think that the show is great!!! The flashbacks get kind of annoying, but then maybe they do that for a reason. I'm really bummed that it wont be on again until feb. Maybe thats due to the earthquake in Hawaii.

i think the stories have gotten bad, and i am going to stop watching. i just don't care about the characters anymore.
also i'm starting to hate kate, i mean ,christ, how's a hundred pound girl gonna do everything she does...have you ever seen a real tough woman, they look tough they don't look like princess kate...
just look at debi purcell, (still looks hot but youcan also believe she's a badass)

I honestly expected more...personally, I don't think this was a good season. TOO much dialogue and so LITTLE action...boring! I'm very disappointed.
