maybe it's because indmods are the worst of each political ideology, who stand for little besides pandering to the middle...whenever they are faced with true, "identity defining" issues, they go hide and let those with more strident beliefs take action - or, maybe it's because they have no unique vision because they are too worried about not alienating, or in any way offending, anyone who might now, or at any time in the future, or the past, be inclined to form an opinion about them - so, they must destroy that which sheds light on their collective inability to stand for anything that gets in the way of bending over

Here's an analogy to explain my point of view on this matter.
The independent moderates who may or may not destroy the liberal conservative way of life is like a volcano with a surrounding forest of very old yet very strong trees.
If the volcano blows up, it will surely destroy the surrounding forest of old trees and shrubs and such, but just as surely many years into the future, a new forest will slowly emerge from the destruction of the volcano and the seeds the old trees left behind.
Then, after doing its natural job, the volcano becomes silent and inactive again, and the surrounding forest grows up to be strong and healthy, and having in it some different trees and flowers that it didn't have before the explosion.
This cycle of growth, destruction, and rebirth occurs from every 4 years to every 12 years.
Yep, that pretty much explains the history and future of the relationship between American partisanship and American independent parties.

Huh??
I am not sure anyoneis trying to destroy anyone's way of life. People just have different ideas about what rules we should live by. So if you won't tell me that I can't have an abortion, I won't tell you that you must have one.
