A zigzag nanotube is a carbon nanotube with a particular orientation. If you imagine that the structure of the carbon atoms make up lots of little pentagons and hexagons. If you put the hexagons side by side so that straight edges were touching and look along the top then you can see that they have jagged or zig-zag edges.

It's also possible to have an "armchair" setup. This would be done in such a way that the would be a striaght edge followed by an "upward slope", then another straight section, followed by a "downward slop". It's actually hard to imagine without actually looking at it to be honest, but once you see it you'l have no problem in spotting which structure a nanotube has.
