I got mine from the same website recommended by 'born a fox'. I just did the ETA (electronic visa) good for up to 3 months of travel. Just fill out the online form and pay by credit card (I think you can send payment in as well). There isn't a physical visa that goes into your passport, but it will come up electronically when they scan your passport for entry into Oz. Easy as pie!

get an invitation from someone who lives there.go to the embassy and get your visa

your travel agency will arrange it for you or you can get it done at the australian embassy. You need to produce your valid passport for it.
