Every year that i run cross country i get a blue/purple blister under my toenail. Last year the blister went away, but this year the nail is about to fall off. When it falls off will it bleed? How long will it take to grow back? Basketball season is about to start up, what should i do to protect it and prevent this from happening again?

I had a bacterial infection in my big toe nail and it fell off it has taken 6 months for it to grow back to where I can be comfortable wearing open toed shoes. make sure that you protect it really well it hurts like a motherf***** when you hit it the slightest little bit!!!

my dad played volleball a it came off a little bit and he wanted the pain to go away so he pulled it off it didn't bleed it just came off.

It will grow back unless it is a fungus or something.
