Yes I think it is safe to say it is just about over. We are now entering the soloists and white-boy rapper era. It'll take some will power to get through this one.

It will never die. "Boy bands" have been around as long as Rock & Roll. Ever heard of "The Temptations," "The Platters," or "The Four Tops?" All "boy bands."
