I think Joe Lieberman would highly disagree with you on that point.

I think it's easier being a moderate period. I don't follow the party lines on anything, though I lean much more on the democratic party. Because I think our legislators should represent all the people all the time and make decisions based on the good of the citizen and the country with out personal gain or thoughts or re-election, we are their boss, even if we can't afford the bribe! Really there is supposed to be a balance.

I don't think there is such a thing as a moderate Republican these days. Ever since Reagan invited "Christian" fundamentalists to become active in the Republican Party, they've been getting progressively more extreme.

There are no Moderate Democrats.
They are just Liberals trying to hide, and fool people.
Watch how they vote, and you'll see.
Hillary is considered a Moderate now. Because she supports Bush in Iraq.

There are a lot of moderate Dem's, you just don't hear about them, because there is such a huge left wing slant in the powerhouse media.
It's not any easier.

This question isn't specific enough. What aspects of life are easier for those Mod Dems than the Mod Reps, who apparently have things so much worse?

Both are on the endangered species list. I think it's equally tough to be either.
