Admired him for his stance on corruption, ie 'bungs' to managers and agents. That sort of thing defrauds the fans who pay already over the odds to watch their teams. But female officials?..C'mon! This would only encourage players to display feminine characteristics on the field, like petty tantrums, hair pulling, biting etc, not to mention feigning injury and unmanly kissing and hugging after scoring! It's a MAN'S game, footie!

I think he spat the dummy a little bit. Wonder what excuse he would have made if a man had been running the line? Next week, Mike Newall on why women shouldn't have the vote!

I'm sure the misogynistic fcuk wit will be made to apologise/resign when he should just be put on the naughty step and have his favourite toy taken away from him!

Just remembered him complaining when he played with Aberdeen at Killie, when Killie manager kicked the ball "in anger" at him!!! hahahahaha

A proffessional footballer who can't hack it when someone kicks a ball at him, I think we know why the big pansy doesnt want women in the game. He might get hurt!!

Yeah he should of included Graham Poll, the man is an ego seeking bastard, who loves the attention on him

It makes you think weather he planned the 3 yellow card fiasco at the World Cup just to get people talking about him instaed of the football.

i kind of agreed with him. it's something manager's will single out, and i doubt most premiership or championship players would give a female official the same respect they give a male official (which is already pretty low).

it just complicates matters really......let the women officiate the womens sports and the men officiate the mens
