Can there be another "beatles" band that will effect music?

No, i don't think there will ever be another band that had the impact theBeatles did. The reason is, this is a different time and there are so many bands and musicians now. Back then, they were ahead of their time and the impact was so great! So, I just do not think there is anyone could compare with them or have their impact!!

No, when The Beatles came to America the youth was lost. JFK had just been shot and there weren't many prominent rock n rollers in the early sixties. Youth were looking for a way to get their minds off of this. They were revolutionary and rewrote the rules or rock music. These "rules" are so complex today that no band could simply rewrite them.

Of course there will be another mega-popular band sometime soon. Let's just hope that they are as great as The Beatles were!
I am always dissapointed when people my age (18) direagard the Beatles as "has beens" that are too old to be appreciated.
What the flip is up with my generation?

I don't think music today is taken anywhere near as seriously as it was in the 1960's. Mostly everything from the last 20 years has been throwaway. Also, when the Beatles were making music, it was mostly an empty palate which they could expand upon. At this point, everything's already been done. There's little innovation, mostly imitation.
So, in short... no, I don't think so.

Well, I don't think that kind of music is much appealing to most people today. There might be a band that will be the biggest band in the world someday - it just depends on the band, and if the band doesn't get into a fight because one of them is getting jealous and stuff like most bands today.

They say that every so many years a band like that comes along.
I dont think anyone has come close to the Beatles if Im honest. Like that was pure talent, You dont seem to hear songs like that anymore.

Yes, absolutely...the biger question is "are there any bands that compare to the Beatles?" I think Coldplay has some nice tunes--but not catchy enough...

Yes there can be.
Though it would be difficult for that to happen because a lot of people listen to the crappiest music. They prefer grown men singing like a $lutty girl (you know who I'm talking about) to actual music.
