I've been hearing rumors all over the web of a Sega "resurrection" Anybody know? I'm a big time sega fan.

Sega never went away really, but after the Dreamcast they had to scale back the magnitude of their operations a lot and they focussed on making games - and good ones too - and they have been recovering strength as a major games developer since then. I don't think we will ever see them make a home console again though.

Well, SEGA is making a whole slew of Sonic games, such as Sonic the Hedgehog (new) and Sonic Wild Fire. Look them up. But no huge "resurrection" like you thought. Maybe in the future though.

From what I heard a while ago they contracted out to microsoft to produce games or sold out to microsoft as it was just to much compitition between playstation and xbox and they couldn't afford such a battle so I'm pretty sure all they do now is make games.

i dont think so either, but it is entirely possible. Sega's stock has been bought by microsoft and nintendo so prob not. They got really screwed by dreamcast

I would have to say as another game system no. As a game producer...maybe!!!
