A safe and natural way is cucumbers. Peel the cucumbers to expose the juice, lay them in the trash or around the trash. Or go to any exterminating place or home depot, lowe's, etc. buy a "oil" base spray. Oil base sprays are best for outside use, harder to wash away.

you collect some of the roaches in a clear plastic bag, go over to your neighbor, knock on his/her door, when they open stick out your bag of roaches and say "we have something to discuss about your pets"
hahah

try throwing some boric acid in his trash can [it's really cheap and comes in powder form, but i believe it might be harmful to pets and kids if swallowed], you can also mix equal amounts of sugar and baking soda and it's supposed to work just as fine at killing roaches... AND it's not harmful to pets, kids, plants... then throw the sugar + baking soda powder mix in his trash can
wouldn't hurt to throw some around your home too to help keep the roaches out

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk

Dust the area using boric acid powder. Roach-Pruf is a common brand name. Roaches injest the acid when they clean their legs, and it gets into their digestive tract and kills them.

You vacuum them up as soon as they get to your house. Then you call the Board of Health and scream bloody murder.

Use a loud vacuum. Don't use a leaf blower.
