George H. W. Bush, better known as Daddy, vetoed 29 times in only one term. So GW will veto 29 more times to give him a total of 30. G.W. can then say he not only took out Saddam for Daddy but he vetoed better, too.

I thought he was still due for his first veto.
He spends more government money than any President in recent history.
Maybe we can have some gridlock for the next two years and let the people right the nation without the politicians trying to do it for us.

He didn't veto because he had a Republican congress. After all his failures, even if he did veto, the American people would be calling for his blood!

2; 1 per year.
1 to let the Democrats know he is still in charge, and 1 to appease the currently more liberal political appetite in this country.

About 714 - that gives him one per day throughout 2007 - 8 and allows for a brief honeymoon period and days off in Crawford. Oops, if we allow for that, maybe it should be about 25 since he spends more time in Crawford than he does in Washington.
