Try right clicking on ur desktop,
select:
display modes
true colour
1024X768
It depends on ur PC. This applies to a 15inch monitor. It will be different on other monitors.
If thats not the case, then your laptop is in safemode, which you can easily convert back into normal mode, by restarting and select F8 or F10.

Try this:
Right click on the desktop
Click properties
Go to Appearance tab
Click Effects
From the drop down list that says "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" select Standard.

Right click on desktop. Go to properties then click the settings tab. Your resolution should be changed. 1024 x 768 is normally a good choice.

Click control on the mouse, and scroll back with your mouse button. With a lot of html driven sites users can charge the font size by doing this, to make it easier to read.

Try using the 'View' selection on the top bar ... two over from 'File'. It has text size and setting from largest to smallest. Mine is set on Medium.

Set your show determination slightly bigger via precise-clicking on your computing device then figuring out on homes. choose the Settings tab and set your show determination to 1024*768. wish it enables.
