First of all Roman art Sculpture Architecture mores and thinking
Thoughts of Democracy way of life were mostly adapted from
the Greek Culture. They looked up to them and admired them.
The Greeks Founded Colonies in the South of Italy and lived
Peacefully there. The Romans Fought them had them as slaves
but they were always Treated very well By the Romans, Because
they were always considered very Intellectul. Eventually the Greeks in Italy intermarried and just became Romans. The Romans Admired Art ,and the greeks were great Artists,Artisans,and they made beautiful Naked Statues of the
Gods and Goddesses and Notables and the Romans just Adapted there Culture to there Own Just like they had Done
with other peoples culture and sometimes they improved it and made it better especially in Architecture. They Admired the
Human Form just like the people of today basically.

The naked body, both male and female, has always been the subject of art in nearly every human culture. It's not surprising to see depictions of nudity within this context.

Ancient Greeks DIDN'T go around naked all the time. Just in the Olympics and some art I think.
