How tall are you? If you have a small frame, you should probably weigh at least 100 pounds. If you're seriously underweight, you need to see a doctor or a nutrition specialist. If you're healthy otherwise, then you need to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, and you definitely don't want to gain fat. You need protein, vegetables, fruits, whole grains and dairy products. You can eat larger portions, and several snacks in addition to your three meals a day. See your doctor to make sure there is no health issue, and that you're not suffering from an eating disorder. Then follow his/her advice on how to properly gain weight for your height. Good luck!

Eat foods high in fat and low in protien. You can talk to your doctor and they have this shot that helps you put on weight. Be careful though, because you don't want to become unhealthy. Even if you have the perfect shape you could have high cholestorol and that could cause you to have heart attacks when your older.

Ask your doctor how to gain weight. Do you know why you're underweight? You might be hyperthyroid.
Try to gain slowly and steadily-- again, ask your doctor. I don't know your height, so I can't really predict how underweight you are, but 80 lbs is pretty small. You might have a really small frame, too.
If so, I'm actually jealous.

Try drinking protein shakes with a banana between your meals. You are wrong about not wanting to gain muscle, it is more important to your health than fat.

you don't want to gain the weight fast cause that is very unhealthy, try eating before you go to sleep, that way you're not working the food off, you're laying down sleep, that might work

Gain healthy weight not junk weight. You don't want your heart being bad too. Eat meat. Not too greasy.

You'd probably want to eat lots of breads, but if you want your digits to go up you'd want to gain muscle; then, eat meats and vegetables.
