i've heard about fashion designers having trunk shows. even small designers. but what IS a trunk show and what are they like?? thanks!

Most fashion shows have a theme, so designers only show their pieces that fit with that theme, but a trunk show is different, it's a mixture of all their designs/outfits, etc.

A trunk show is when designers and stores show what will be in stock for the next season and new styles. At these shows you can buy all of the new designer's products normally for a little less than theyn would normally be ($)

It's when different designers bring in some designs to show others. It's like a design exhibition.
