try using spray-n-wash pretreator or if that doesn't work use peroxide, just pour right on the stain

I have never mustarded stains. But I would be willing to try. Are you sure you bought the proper product? Does it say on the can "This stuff will mustard stains" or words to that effect? By the way, what kind of stains are you trying to mustard? Can you add a little detail to your question?

Using an eye dropper, flush stain with vinegar; then wash with diluted dishwashing-soap solution. Put out in the sun! Do not put in the dryer.

ginger ale and baking soda..

start by putting a tea spoon full of baking soda on the stain then just a drop of ginger ale. and rub in with a toothbrush
