for a mother to hit her child who is 14 years old and a bruise as big as a softeball remains on her arm? and is it right for e mom to cuss on a regular basis?

I guess I'm old fashioned (ha, at 26), but my first questions are "how often does this occur?", and "what did she hit you for?". The cussing I guess could be considered verbal abuse, and if the hitting is a continuous thing, then no, it's not right and you should talk to someone about it; but I had a yard stick cracked across my leg, was slammed against a car, and I think she may have slapped me a time or two on different occasions, and I never considered myself abused because I was a shithead and deserved it.

NO!! It is not right for a parent to abuse there child and use foul language all the time.This can and has bad results behind it.Meaning this child could grow up and do the same if not worse to her children.This could also damage the child in many ways.I suggest that this child talk to her mom if that does not work than she shoudl seek help from her school/teacher.

i dont think that that mother should hit her kid cuz she could go to jail for that no that mother should not cuss at her child on a regular basis

hitting her child is wrong. no wait that is way passed wrong. she has no right to beat the child even if what the child did was wrong. and cussing i mean its not a really big deal but it is still abuse the same way. what you have here is physical and emotional abuse. and you need to tell someone about it. its not right at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well that is not right and i bet that her mom really feels bad maybe the mom is stressed out .....and alos what did the child do to be hit? i am not saying that it is right for her to do that but maybe the child should talk to the mother about it...

NO...that is what you call child abuse, and she should get in trouble for it.
and about the cussing part..shes an adult, but its not good to cuss in front of your children.

that's abuse. no one should be hitting anyone, especially leaving a mark like that.
as for the swearing, I think swearing at your child in bad way is horrible.

one no the father can and should go to jail two no it's not right for her mother to do that but I'm not sure there is much she can do about that
