Orientation can't be changed.
You can change behavior and live a miserable life lying to yourself and everyone around you. That doesn't sound like any fun.

He finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He saw that it was not right for what he was doing (called a conscience). He also thought that it was something that no longer served his purpose in life. He might of realized that it was creating the disease that is a deadly disease for those who practice that sort of morality. So therefore he is scared to die from it, or being shunned by people who think that he may have contracted it. The conscience plays a very good part on our moral values, so he might of been feeling guilty that this was not his purpose, and people looked at him funny and were talking bad about him. Lots of factors play a part in why people change. I vouch for him going straight, I think it will make more of a man out of him to accept the fact that he once was doing that sort of thing.

They can't. No program has been proven to be successful in converting gay men into heterosexuals. Most of these programs only succeed in making a person confused and end up hating him/herself.
And if you are just discovering this about yourself don't despair, you can live a full life as a gay man.

I wouldn't know...and I couldn't answer that...I do know that it happens...I used to have no attractions to women before I met my fiancee, but now her and I are very happy, and everything is at society's norm...but...I can't answer...I honestly can't...but if this is about loathing towards oneself or others, you shouldn't. People are who they are, and it shouldn't be looked down upon. People are different, and should be loved the same. That's my outlook at least

In my experience, he cannot. It's not that sexuality can't change (it can), but you cannot consciously change your desires. You can suppress them, deny them, not act on them, etc., etc., but you can't just go "Okay, now I'm straight."
It just doesn't work that way.
