No, he's just an empty suit in the public eye right now. His only 2008 presidential credentials are that he isn't Hillary. People are projecting all sorts of reflections of their own world view on him. He's been in the Senate for less than two years. No major legislative initiatives. No passionate causes that he's been soap boxing. He's cute. He's black. He talks good. That's the only "there" there as of now.
